Lotus Coating with Nano Glass

Lotus Coating with Nano Glass Tube. Duration : 2.68 Mins.

Experimental Lotus Coating with Nano Glass The lotus effect is the superhydrophobic property found with lotus plants' leaves. The picture shows it on nasturtium. A fine structure on the surface of the object supports the property of the material. So nano glass powder is very effective. The powder has a particle size of about 10nm. (In the picture the particles are shown with coating for the scanning electron microscope). The powder is spread on the surface and the solvent is evaporated. The white line marks the 100nm thickness of the wet layer. The petri dish is treated the same way. Drops are rolling on the surface. A large drop acts as a loupe. Drops combine to a resonant mass. The water can also be moved electrically with a charged plastic stick. The uncoated half of the petri dish is wetted by the water. Is that a chance for no more dishwashing with nano coated dishes?

Shopcatch: How to use mobile to move pedestrians into customers - with creator Candice Faktor

Shopcatch: How to use mobile to move pedestrians into customers - with creator Candice Faktor Video Clips. Duration : 40.15 Mins.

How do you use mobile to bring customers into your business? This is the single most important question retailers should be asking themselves as the world moves from the stationary screen to the one in their customers pocket. It is also the single focus of Candice Faktor and her Toronto startup www.shopcatch.com Shopcatch. Candice talks passionately about the way mobile can help retailers get new and existing customers to walk those extra few steps into a store and how mobile can drive revenue at the same time. This is a perfect example of how mobile can drive customer loyalty and sales and do it in a seamless and relevant way. For more episodes of mobile entrepreneurs, visit http
